ABOUT
Midtown Family Medicine

Dr. Don Ortiz and Dr. Michael Montoya opened Midtown Family Medicine in September 2008. In continuation of a successful career with the largest HMO in NM, the Doctors decided to re-invigorate their medical careers by establishing a small and more personal medical environment in which to care for patients. In 2008, the goal was then, and remains to this day to provide comprehensive and compassionate family medicine. It is vitally important to each provider that Midtown Family Medicine be a place where patients and staff feel welcome

The providers and staff at Midtown Family Medicine are devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. We take pride in being primary care specialists that provide continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and parts of the body. Our knowledge of patient care is anchored in the context of the family and the community, emphasizing disease prevention and health promotion.

Primary care is the day-to-day healthcare given by our providers. Typically your provider acts as the first contact and principal point of continuing care for patients within a healthcare system and coordinates other specialist care that the patient may need. Depending on the nature of the health condition, patients may then be referred for secondary or tertiary care.

Here at Midtown Family Medicine our staff truly cares about your health and wellness.
